Words of Wisdom – “A Man’s Devotion to Devotion”

May 7, 2019

“A man has no place in rising above that which he first meant his devotion to be, and she is the woman who is not to be cast aside. When a man rises, he was enabled to, first in the physical sense. He is taller than her. He may look over her, in that physical sense. Though, when it comes to more abstract ideals, he may come to forget where his devotion lurks. When she is forgotten, she becomes a phantom roaming a marsh. When she is remembered, she is then a goddess to be hailed by many. For is it not a woman’s duty to look up, and either feel envy or feel weakness? And, is it not a woman’s desire to pull down God from Heaven, for either a kiss, or to cast him aside?”
