Words of Wisdom – “Pride is only the Achievement” – 6/3/2019

June 3, 2019

“The achievement is the outcome, where either a smile of satisfaction or dissatisfaction has the ability to make a judgement. Though, the current idea that one’s identity is one’s pride has to have arisen out of a belief that the doings of a person can only be judged by the self. It should be assumed that should one be the remaining human on earth, they would yearn to hear a comment of appreciation. Life craves criticism, for the betterment of that life, and only a coward will ever criticize anyone not in the same room. For that is the same as criticizing the dead. The judgement should be external, and only in a world of loneliness, has a human ever adopted the belief that they’re the only person allowed to offer a critique upon themselves. The singularity, the oneness of a single human, the belief in the ‘single life’ over the relationship, has the problem of an ‘easy transition’ between nothingness and a something. A yearning to be criticized, a failing in love, and the multiple stanzas in poetry about the expression of heartache, are only a result out of failure to be personal. The quick blaze of lust, offers a stolen moment. The invisible and warm flame of love, offers acceptance for what exists, though was denied.”
