Poem – “Graceful Shape” – Erotica – 3/11/2021

A curtain’s twist
In the saddest wind,
Fading
Within your dust,
Holding
Your shape, to the dimmest night
Where our eyes seek shelter,
As our minds release fright.

Here,
A kiss
To the palm that now
Cups a breast, near to
The steady rhythm
Of a grateful heartbeat,
Echoing through
The structure of one
Graceful shape.

Two kisses for either hip,
With just one
For that of your lips.
We ride together
Upon the teeming lakes from our
Running tears,
With our
Crisscrossing years.

Painting
Our faces
In each other’s colors,
Waiting for the rainbow
To soon sprinkle us
With gold,
As we
Remain warm
While old.
