Poem – “Edible Petals” – Erotic Poetry – 4/11/2021

Ziegfeld Model Risque - 1920s - by Alfred Cheney Johnston. Restored by Nick & jane. Enjoy!

She whisks
With entertaining smile,
Tremoring of fingertips,
Watchful of eyes.
Surrounding in ebony cloak
Dropped to the floor
In one barren stroke.

A face by which
Contains more than the universe,
In its wealth of exploration.
Walking by
In the streams that take to decline
From between a porcelain pair
Of legs, gracefully
Motioning to the softest of quilts.

Her eyes eclipse the stars,
Her sigh, by which
Marks itself as sweet to the unbinding
Of a heart upon a crutch,
Takes to pleasure’s discord,
A wanderer’s clutch.

Edible petals
Between pillars of softest skin,
With exploration
Marked deep, to begin
Upon the Heavenly journey
To signal this angel towards sin.
