You've known me,
when this instinct
becomes what I
will begin to breathe
after I've crafted
the summer, for both
of our sunrises.
From two distinct,
delicate horizons,
we recognize that we
can quite easily
break this, but we've
gone on to believe
in our search.
Light spills around,
shadows are ended
from their long stretch,
for we cast none.
On continuing to rise,
we will meet each other,
greeting each other
under dire expectation.
To explore the other,
it will mean to ignore
anything that filters
our light, our sight
to make the smallest
shade in a corner.
To merge into this
undividable kiss,
tells us to treasure
a stark, blinding gleam,
solidifying our belief
in love, as it is.
