Wild as the petals upon the meadow’s edge
Your cheeks grew to be the distant sunset,
The color of love.
A long blush held me captive
As I was held in awe, I took what gaze I could find.
From two eyes, I merely saw one
Staring back, for the eye I saw to be the sun
Held its clouds buried beneath,
And the shower of color was you blushing
The world into a flurry.
