Every love
Upon the Earth,
Is a treasure,
Is for the worship
Of two feet
That step upon the rocks,
Upon the hardened hearts,
So delicate in movement.
I was good to you,
The man to make you smile
The oceans across,
And the Earth so wide.
Love has two minutes
More to kiss,
Two minutes,
With one minute
For either lip.
Love plays a violin
And its sound reverberates
Across my lungs.
Every love,
Every aspect,
Every pleasure,
Every beautiful moment,
Is to be spent holding hands
While the world ends.
