Free the breath Swallowing you, On the way to sheltering arms That never left you. I hold the rain, As I carry Frequent, passing clouds. Shuddering from your awareness To life, on the dismal course, As elegance deserts you While idle eyes View you. Burn the temperatures That have wrapped you In ungraceful, Decline. Keep yourself Hopeful, As love never falls overboard On the ship, through your veins, As I taste Your great, falling tears, Wandering from Shore to shore. And I ask, "Why would I weep, too, When I love enough to be This strong?"
