Poem – “Shared Wanderlust” – Modern Romanticism – 2/11/2022

Passion, indecision.
I touch a bright light
to journey
the voyage, to keep praying
a miracle will enter our eyes.

Heaven kissed
for eternity.
I would love to
return you, through
the forests, the fields,
the places lost in
everyday voids.

Carve you out
among stone.
Liquify your heart
into the soil.
Raise the dead
with new smiles.
Return the pace
upon joyful miles.

Shatter the mirror.
Create the garden
for common talk.
You are each man's right
to utter the power of a word,
beyond his cruel reflection.
