Stumbling over
rewritten words,
begging this world
to forget our heaven
that was never even
brought to imagination.
I could have loved
for another eternity.
I could have lived
without her safety.
I could have retracted
my heart, with one rose
to the angel I protected
from crisscrossing storms.
But I leapt
to surroundings
all adjacent,
all battered
from pouring skies,
as I had nothing left
to hold, to hide.
Undress, with me,
this dust around a frame,
that catches a bleeding moment,
lost in a murderous valley
where nothing survives.
Nothing more arrives
to this abandoned station,
creaking with wood,
collapsed in, with mud.
