Poem – “Violet Wave” – 5/25/2026

We’ve extended a hand
to a dosage of rarity.
Serve us well.
Let us swell.

The words on our tongue,
the bitterness left behind
is our triumphant return
to a lasting boldness.

We reside on firmest,
longest wavelengths,
testing the sun’s
strongest warmth.

We’ve had to bandage
these burns in our trials,
far from retreating
into a cold shelter.

That color of our eyes,
connects to create
a vivid tapestry.

Our moment to shine
is from our ability
to conquer time.
