Pour within
your overdue epiphany
that sparks a light
on a non-existent night.
All you imagine
is what you revere,
disabling joy
in your contests.
Bring inside,
from a passing train
a cure to absorb,
bitterness to evict
your beloved sickness.
What haven’t you
not dreamed of,
while kneeling in dirt,
stricken with hurt?
Run with screaming winds,
telling your history
to those who listen.
Race within time’s flow
to let others know
what you were given.
It’s a shock
to see
what you could be
when you’re not
deserting
what you deserve.
