Poem – “Decided Serenity” – 9/14/2026

It comes along,
once buried
for the ride,
to be lifted above
the longest silence.

A vessel caught
a reflecting puddle,
an honest image
of someone,
holding onto life
at the edges
of ripples.

A collection of words
kept in a cage,
locked inside a heart
that would beat
just for one more mile
to be counted,
to be bled.

There are assurances
to keep safe,
when the unearthed cure
becomes common light.

There’s a commitment
to unleash,
to let loose into
this unforked journey.

A direction that teaches
there’s always more
than stones to cross over,
than bridges to burn.
