Fragile parts
bound without much
to provide purpose,
to stick loyalty
to its desired shape.
Fractures are an invite
becoming you to fall
over that cliff,
for you to plunge
your heart
into your mind.
You never see
all that happens
behind you,
where nighttime
thrives on broken seams,
distorted dreams.
Fatal departure,
one after another,
loosens your sanity
through its cure.
You return,
covered in tears,
smothered in the safety
that darkness hears.
One more lie
resembling the truth
you never knew.
One thin wire
connecting you
to a welcomed end.
