Poem – “Carefree Angel” – 10/18/2026

Brutal timeline
of a story
left razor sharp
on a cliff’s edge.

You sunder
what leftover
burning hope there is
for a paradise
to be built.

What a life
you’ve restrained,
bleeding cuts
into floods,
turning honesty
over closed eyelids.

You kneel
in a clogged avenue,
ample with yearning
to become someone
without vacancy.

To fulfill some set
of bold words,
to bring to flame
a rekindled passion,
go to derail
a train packed
with unmentioned,
unneeded doubt.
