Petals freeze their quivering,
As tears cease their movements
Down your frigid cheeks.
You share bleakness
With this abode of mine,
This city of mine
Where pain is sweetness, and the source of my people’s
Division.
They say
With words so bold,
That their pain accompanies themselves,
As themselves.
That, they are pain,
But, not so much strong.
Your shadow is the eclipse, itself,
Masking radiance with further loss
Of light.
A darkness
To behold,
Because, love was a wing that would not shed
A single feather.
