Poem – “Two Kisses for Hollow Eyes” – Romance – 4/11/2020

She soars, as a phantom
Bled by distant romance.
Upon the halo’s entrance,
Smiles were eclipsed
From her place in the sky
To the Earth where she dies.

Float past me
To the fear you know so well.
Fly to the wind, that embraces thee
Among all of you, so torn.

I’ll kiss, though will not kiss, again
The hollow eyes that see only darkness.
I’ll miss, though will miss, again
The beauty that cannot shed light.

Fear all of yourself,
Why don’t you?
