Poem – “Bend your Neck back” – Romance – 8/29/2020

Lean yourself
To see the stars
Back from the embrace of no one,
But me.
I breathe strands of your perfect hair,
Radiant in the skylight.
I let your curves become more than curves,
Rivaling the Earth.
I allow your arms to swim in the air about us,
While silk encases your form.

Submit to the sun
Of me.
Let the moon sink its white teeth
In your cherry lips.

I kiss your dreams to nightmare,
Then from nightmare
To wakefulness.

You are a song without a rope
To pluck from, about your wrists.
You radiate, as we escalate.
