Poem – “Will you Remain Young?” – Romance – 10/5/2020

Will you
Never drag your tiredness
Like one hearse
Of no remembrance?
Will you
Captivate all with another smile,
Bleeding from somewhere,
I know not where?

Will you
Fall, to always call
Me, to repair your symmetry?

Will you
Reveal, all you’ve concealed
Beneath the earth, for your birth?

Your face
Reminds me of glass,
For I can see shape of myself
In the humid reflection.
Vapor clings,
While vapor rots
The lungs, as I breathe
From somewhere close.

Little grace,
Of un-spilled tears
To a bitter face,
Can we grieve,
While we believe
In better-ness,
Without bitterness?
