Poem – “Dissolving Sadness” – Romanticism – 1/8/2021

Block your road,
Endless journey to the beginning
Of pieces placed,
As life remakes
Steps to follow
On the hollow road,
Dreaming of sceneries collected,
Drinking sorrow resurrected.

The snow
Atop your eyes,
Has landed, by this evening
Where your dreams
Are a contemplative memory.
Walk about,
Look beautiful,
And do not for a moment
Stop to breathe.

Collect your heart,
Broken of fragments, at your feet,
Run along with the birds,
Sing songs that believe
Dew can land, that be not the tears
Swimming from your red-circled
Saddened eyes.
