Poem – “A Grave Fixation” – Romanticism – 2/13/2021

Holy entrance
To a bedroom full of stars,
Waiting wars,
To undress you, full of velvet,
To untouched plainness.

Be upon the fields
Where flesh comes undone

For watching eyes.
Be where fires raise sensation,
Where waters renew deprivation

That I might scar you.

Your sin, for the sadness
You held tight, during spoiled nights
Those men trampled you.

My kisses explore you,
As arms devour you.

Be here
Under raining tears.
Never run back
To where Autumn is tenfold
The symptom of panic,

Where never the fall maintains you.
